Detail photos are a great way to display all the little things from your wedding day that you want remembered. From the stunning lace on your gown to the sparkle of your accessories, these photos will help you relive the magic for years to come. To make sure your bridal detail photos are absolutely breathtaking, we’ve put together a bridal detail checklist of must-have details to consider.

Note: Detail photos are usually taken at the beginning of the day and take approximately 60 minutes to be captured.

BRIDAL DETAIL CHECKLIST

• Invitation Suites
• All 3 rings
• A ring box that fits your wedding aesthetic
• Earrings, necklace, bracelets or any jewelry you’ll be wearing
• Bridal shoes
• Vow books
• Perfume
• Bouquet
• Your Veil
• Something blue
• Any sentimental, unique or heirloom items you’d like to include (example: your grandmother’s hand mirror or any vintage items that have been passed on to you)
• Extra ribbon or fabric that you are using in your design elements
• Any gifts or notes from your partner
• Bonus: FLORALS! Fresh floras really help up level your detail photos! We’d love to have a few cuts of the florals you’ll be using throughout your wedding day. Ask your florist to supply us a small bucket of extra pieces so we can incorporate time in your detail photos.

TIP: HAVE ALL YOUR DETAILS GATHERED IN A BOX BEFORE YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER ARRIVES. USE THE BRIDAL DETAIL CHECKLIST TO ENSURE EVERYTHING HAS BEEN INCLUDED.

YOUR WEDDING GOWN

• Your Dress is a big part of detail photos, let’s capture its beauty! Get a nice hanger for your dress (the plastic hanger sometimes can take away from it’s beauty!). You can get a personalized hanger with your new last name or a simple wooden or white one
• Hang your dress somewhere inside that has good lighting (next to a window) and no clutter.
• If weather allows and it’s not a windy day we will also take your dress outside for some extra special shots!
